Charlie George wasn't really a striker. George, he was a left-wing player who scored great goals, including when he scored the winner against Liverpool fifty-three ago.
Brilliant player .. and I’m a spurs fan

Way to go Charlie George. Great goals! Brought a smile to my face (even though I do support Manchester United) If anyone would like to meet Charlie and Arsenal. I recommend the tour. You'll love it. ❤

A fantastic player and beyond belief he was sold to Liverpool. An impressive medal collection throughout his career. RIP Ray Kennedy ✝️
Great player Alan Ball!! So him many times when he played for Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Radford and Kennedy scoring goals for fun when we won the doubles fifty-three years ago. Radford scoring twice when we were so close of winning our second doubles fifty years ago against Liverpool away.
Afro Alan Sunderland who sweetly scored his hat trick against our foes Tottenham.
McDonald scored goals for fun when he signed from Newcastle to join us forty-seven years ago..
Stapleton was so clinical when he headers the ball.
Who put the ball in the Scousers net? Charlie, Charlie....
Broke my heart when he went to Utd. At least Chippy went to a top European team.
I was at most of those games. Had fond memories of Sheffield Utd and Wrexham away. It was a tragedy that SuperMac's career was cut short by injury. I was there when he played his last game for us. Away to Chelsea. He scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. He had missed the whole season due to injury but came back for one last game. I might be wrong, but I am fairly certain we played Chelsea on a Monday night. 2 days after beating the Mancs in the FA Cup final.
Graham stabbed us at the back by managing Spurs. Graham as a player for the Gunners, he won a league title and an FA cup medal. He also wins a Fairs Cup medal. As a manager, two league titles, the FA Cup, two league cups and one cup in Europe.
George graham was a headering machine😊😊
Rip Alan ball
Charle George is best remembered for scoring that great goal that won us the Doubles in 70-71.
My name is graham radford n des legend is my dads uncle all my family r gonners🇮🇪❤❤
I was there for the goal against WBA.Thanks for posting.
My fav player of all time! never forget hes goal against liverpool in the f a cup final
Daveoct...said it all..i used watch him in the reserves too..he was such an entertainer.
Been a gunner is in my DNA coyg
Shame he had a botched knee op at Newcastle then a further 2 operations put an end to his career as the first op caused a bleed deep within the knee that should have been sealed off. A mass of scar tissue was removed and caused further damage, and coupled with his bowed legs, his knees suffered. He drank to stop the pain...so he wasn't an alcoholic..he needed surgical help.
The second to the last goal in the video is a classic.
